Tennessee Vacation Home

Our clients asked us to design a vacation home in rural Tennessee where they plan to eventually retire. They had their eyes on modern, one-story designs that would work for them now, and as they get older. We showed them several single-story options, and one with a small second floor so that visiting family would have a place to stay with a bit more privacy. The shed roofs are a nod to local agricultural buildings, and the loft space with a window seat overlooking their woods makes a great spot for bird watching or reading a book.
