Lickity Split

They say there is no 'I' in team...but there are three in Lickity Split. The owner of a new frozen custard and sweet shop asked our friends at Studio Nigro Architecture + Design to design their delicous new storefront shop in Chicago's Edgewater neighborhood. And they asked us to partner with them as architect of record because of our commercial experience and our ability to navigate the building code and permitting process. The building permit process in the city of Chicago is better than it used to be…but it can still cause heartburn for homeowners and business owners for whom time is money. We were able to help Studio Nigro and the owner keep the permit process short and sweet through our participation in the Chicago's Self Certified expedited permit program which can cut permit times in half…or less.  No one likes to wait for building permits...or ice cream.
